First product focus

Online sports gambling has hit all-time highs in recent years. The payment landscape is changing, with more sites accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment, but sports betting itself is still mediated through a company or other central authority. We believe in the need for a crypto-native sports betting platform that engages the entire world (regulations and laws permitting).

The sports betting market size worldwide is in excess of $200 billion USD. Capturing even a small percentage of this market size would give Mercury Labs a massive opportunity to expand our business, offerings, and community; hence, this is our first product focus.
